TONAWANDA, NY – A Buffalo favorite is getting bigger again!
Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill is hosting a grand opening for its new Tonawanda location at Sheridan Drive and Delaware Road on Thursday, July 7.
The official groundbreaking ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and is hosted by the Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce.
The celebration will include food, gifts and items donated by Sabers and Bills – plus an appearance by some Buffalo Sabers!

The fast-casual restaurant was founded in Buffalo by the Khoury family and quickly expanded to 15 locations in Western New York and Texas.
Rachels management says it plans to continue to expand not only in Buffalo, but also in Rochester and Syracuse.
“Our original plan was to move up I-90 as demand grew, and now we’re getting requests from everywhere as we grow,” said Brandon Guzda, chief operating officer of Rachel’s. “It’s not over yet.”
