The role
We are looking for an accomplished and innovative Mid-Senior Level Marketing Manager, to join our growing team at our head office in Camden.

You will be experienced in successfully planning and executing marketing campaigns that sell tickets to the live music space. You will be responsible for KOKO’s iconic theater brand, working closely with a variety of promoters and artist teams, in a fast-paced environment. While your primary role will be to keep theater marketing running smoothly, you will also be willing and able to work with KOKO’s other brands including Café KOKO, The House of KOKO, KOKO Radio, KOKO Foundation, KOKO Studios and various brand partnerships and activations, as needed.

This role will be responsible for defining and executing creative marketing campaigns for KOKO Theater, while creating a cohesive and “united” brand identity across all strategic and tactical activities. Using your experience, industry knowledge and passion for music, you will inspire and motivate your team to drive ticket sales, establish brand awareness, grow and retain audiences and increase positive engagement while seamlessly coordinating marketing activities and strategies with various internal and external departments, including Membership, Events, Sales, Operations, Partnerships, Talent and Senior Management.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies for KOKO Theater
  • Work closely with the music team to execute optimal campaigns for each artist/event based on their genres, audiences and partnership with the promoter.
  • Generation of ideas and implementation of strategies and tactics to facilitate ticket sales.
  • Lead the expansion of KOKO’s digital presence to capture content at the event to successfully promote on-site activity and increase digital brand reach.
  • Coherent project planning, reporting and review. Set and achieve marketing goals and constantly evaluate best practices.
  • Build a range of connected audiences across all platforms and constantly strategize to drive data acquisition, engagement and sales.
  • Managing the social media agency to develop content strategies to continuously drive engagement.
  • Write texts, guide creation and select images for assets and social networks
  • Oversee and lead weekly newsletters
  • Create marketing materials for other areas of the business as needed
  • Team management to create a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Management of brand marketing activities, brand ownership and promotion.
  • Build and implement innovative and engaging online and offline advertising strategies to drive ticket sales and build brand awareness.
  • Assist in formulating, overseeing and maintaining partnerships and external relationships, including PR/media agencies and media partners.
  • Work with designers to inform assets and provide feedback for seamless delivery.
  • Undertake ongoing analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends to help keep business development, operations, talent and senior management informed
  • Oversee the theater’s marketing budget

You will need to have:

  • Proven track record in ticket sales and music/event marketing.
