Fundraising Manager | Chichester Festival Theater

CFT is looking for a Fundraising Manager join them to cover maternity leave. The Fundraising Manager will play a key role in generating revenue for Chichester Festival Theater through the active management of the mid-tier donation and membership schemes. Providing an excellent donor experience for all mid-level donation and membership programs, this role is critical in contributing to the Department of Development’s strategic shift to engage with donors and supporters throughout their life.

Through donor cultivation and stewardship, they will ensure retention of current members, recruitment of new members, and progression through the donor journey to maximize giving. They will ensure members feel part of the CFT family and encourage them to continue supporting the Theatre.

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for successfully managing mid-level donation and membership programs (currently Festival Players and Commissioning and Patron Circles). Once appointed, this role will be referred to as Head of Development (Individual Donations) to complement the job title system at CFT.

CFT would like to hear from you if you have experience working in a fundraising environment, managing relationships with individual donors, applying for funding and obtaining mid-level donations from donors (up to 3 £000).

Experience in prospecting and recruiting new supporters and encouraging donations, as well as demonstrable project management, organizational and administrative skills are essential for this role.

This role, within a small team with multiple stakeholders, involves significant donor management and therefore requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.

Knowledge of Dotdigital, Spektrix or other similar CRM systems would be ideal, but we are happy to provide training if required.

Organizing fundraising events around the theater and our productions, mainly during our festival season, we require a willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
