eegee’s to Open Second Valley Store in Mesa with Ugly Sweater Contest | Arizona Foodies
MESA, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – eegee’s announced the opening of its second valley location in Mesa later this month after receiving a welcome response in nearby Gilbert.
As part of the inauguration on December 14, the restaurant will organize a contest of “ugly” and LIVE 101.5 holiday sweaters. Artist Paige Poppe has designed special stickers that will be handed out during opening week, while supplies last. Eeegee’s personalized cocktail recipes, cultivated by Joshua James of Clever Koi, will be posted on eegee’s Instagram. The Tucson-based restaurant chain first opened in the Valley near Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive in July.
“We were delighted with the reception we received at the launch of eegee’s in Gilbert,” said Ron Petty, CEO of eegee’s.
This location will feature a prototype that should serve as a model for future Phoenix market locations. eegee’s claims the building is constructed using durable insulated structural panels, which are recyclable and allow for faster construction. An eegee-only window will allow those ordering the signature drink to pick up their order and exit the queue. The company has announced plans to open more locations in the valley in 2022.
“Our goal is to build on this momentum, bringing our unique offering to more neighborhoods in Metro Phoenix, starting with East Valley and our first location in Gilbert and now, Mesa. We look forward to showing our neighbors in Mesa who we are – a tradition built on community, convenience and great taste, ”said Petty.
Mesa’s location will be at 1460 S. Crismon Road, near US 60. Eeegee hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday, 9:30 am to 9:00 pm; the drive-thru service remains open until 10 p.m.
