An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cooke where we are looking to recruit a Communications Manager who can positively increase the reach and impact of our business through influential public relations and communications that engage and inspire target audiences, to both internally and externally.

This is an exciting role, where you will lead the planning, delivery and management of our corporate communications objectives, aligning the Cooke Aquaculture brand and global strategy. While managing and directing a communications coordinator, you will work across the full spectrum of public relations and communications taking on a wide variety of responsibilities in broad areas such as: corporate communications, community relations, media relations and event management.

Having demonstrable significant experience in communications or public relations is essential.

In addition to having the right attitude, you will have the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders as well as the initiative, creativity, enthusiasm and strong organizational skills to work effectively on many projects simultaneously. A degree in a relevant subject is desirable.

Regular travel across the UK will be required and therefore a full UK driving license is essential.

We have a varied and interesting opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to support our corporate communications strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the incumbent will support our communications activities including: writing stories for internal and external publication, creating and managing social media content, leading and coordinating groups and local sponsorship committee opportunities , lead the brand image of the company and support the team. to prepare and animate events, thus contributing to the notoriety and notoriety of the company.

The right attitude is most important to us, although you should also have good handwriting and excellent interpersonal skills. With strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle many tasks at once, you will be able to handle multiple demands by prioritizing workload, providing regular updates and meeting deadlines. You will be confident and happy to interact with a variety of stakeholders, you will have a genuine interest in engaging with people and finding creative solutions.

This is an exciting role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills as well as a keen eye for detail. Photography and design experience is desirable but not essential. This role is well suited for someone looking for the next step in their communications career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
