Bradford Bulls general manager provides updates on Odsal events

BULLS general manager Tracey Erby hopes fans can give the team a boost on Monday night against visiting Featherstone as the Bulls look to recover from three home losses in the rotation.

Leigh, in the Challenge Cup, Barrow and Halifax have all beaten Bradford at Odsal since John Kear’s side edged Batley there on March 6.

But Erby thinks the team can take a chance against Fev, saying in his weekly column: “It wasn’t the result we wanted last Friday.

“I’m sure, like me, the players were disappointed, and we all worked hard on and off the pitch to improve.

“There is no respite as we have a big task against Featherstone on Monday night, who played very well and added to an already experienced group of players.

“The players will want to give a good performance and we have shown many times in the past that on the day, if we play to our ability, we can compete with any team.

“Advance tickets are just £15, with all junior tickets free, with gifts for children in the lobby.

“Your support really helps give the players a boost.”

Odsal may not be hosting first-team action after Monday’s game for a while, but there is still plenty going on at the venue.

Erby said: “After Monday the first team is then on the road for a few weeks but we still have some entertainment in the stadium.

“Our reserves host Newcastle on Friday April 29 and YorStox will host firecracker racing the following day on Saturday April 30, with a return to F1 stock cars on Bank Holiday Monday May 2.

“YorStox are the new promoter of stock car and banger racing at Odsal Stadium, and they put on a great show for the two meetings they held at Odsal last weekend.

“If anyone hasn’t shown up, I highly recommend coming. For details please see our website www.bradfordbulls.co.uk or www.yorstox.co.uk.

“We also have the garage sale here every Friday morning with lots of great deals.

“Doors open to sellers from 8:30 a.m. and to buyers from 9:30 a.m.

“We are also recruiting match day bar staff to join our team. If anyone is interested, please email jobs@bradfordbulls.co.uk with a CV and cover letter.

“We hope to see you on Monday night supporting the boys, doing what you do best. Thank you for your continued support.”
